A Squirrel Thought

For those who suffer from anxiety, there is a natural tendency to negatively assume everyone who looks at you has a negative thought, criticism or view of who you are.

Most of us are very self centered. So in reality.. We are probably just mentally going over our own to do list or thinking about something to do with our own life. We are completely unaware of you. We have no opinion of you at all. In fact we may be so deep in our own thoughts, that we do not even know you are there. Because, we are only thinking of ourself.

*****ALL squirrelisms~ are all just opinion based, they have no factual backing .. If you find you do not agree with this squirrel. Happily dismiss what you have read & accept her humbled apologies, if one is needed. It tis after all, just an opinion & what can you expect from a squirrel? *****

Gratitude and Thanks

It’s important to me to greet the beginning & end of every new day. I try to spend a moment watching the sunrise & sunset. This is one of the times in the day where I choose to take in a few really deep conscience breaths, while giving gratitude & thanks for a healthy, happy, prosperous life.

Heal the Mind and Reach

To reach Your Dreams you must give yourself strength. Be willing to see yourself as powerful & strong. You must believe you can be something bigger & better.

To heal your mind. You must remove all anxieties & negative chatter you have, about yourself & life. The first step is to be willing to continuously remove thoughts of self doubt. Everyday, every minute, in every way, remove the negative.

If your suffering from anxiety, you must work on reversing your thinking patterns & flipping your thought process. Instead of viewing yourself as weak for having anxiety. Remind yourself that your brain is sooo powerful that it actually has the strength to control & take over your body. View yourself as strong and powerful. Mentally give yourself back your power, so you can regain your strength & become more confident in life. Arm yourself to fight & believe you deserve the better things. Then reach for them!

Squirrel Thoughts

Never give someone else the power to steal your self value. Even if that someone is yourself.

If you cant surround yourself with people who encourage you & help you see your greater potential. Then you must learn to deflect criticisms & reject negative statements that make you view yourself as less than who you are. Even if those statements come from your own mind.

Cleaning Daydreams

I step outside to clear my head. I take a deep breath to quiet my mind. If I just struck a match & burned it all down. Wouldn’t it be so much easier then cleaning it up? This mess, this life, these piles & memories I have slowly packed away, thinking, hoping they would someday have meaning to someone else’s life.

Now the piles only stand for the past I am unwilling to let go of & all the things I had wished to be. They are now just the weight that holds me down, keeping me from the future I’m unwilling to step into.

I strike the match & let it fall to the ground. I stand and stare as it slowly burns the place down. I smile as the cobwebs go up in smoke & all the things I secretly wished to get rid of, turn into a pile of ash, ready to be swept up and thrown out. The warmth fills my heart and the world seems to glow in a euphoric way.

With a blissful smile, I take one last deep cleansing breath & open my eyes. Then I lift the lid to the can & toss another bag inside. It’s trash day. It’s a new day. It’s cleaning day & my morning daydream ends.

Sometimes daydreams are just the things we think, to amuse ourselves & make light of the mundane.

Squirrel Thoughts

New things in life can not come to you, if you don’t send the energy, that you are making room for change. Remove clutter from your house at least once every few months. Get rid of the things in life that are weighing you down. Materialistic items that are sitting around in boxes, hanging out in your closet or garage. Take it to the thrift stores or give it away.

I have been on a path to downsizing my material needs for several years now. The more stuff I get rid of, the better I can think. Box’s and clutter stand for all the things in life we are unwilling to let go of. Bad Memories, misfortunes & regrets are often connected to those piles of dust and random stacks of whatnots. Throwing them away cleanses the soul & helps send a message that you are willing to move forward and progress. Life is waiting for you to give way, to all it has to offer. We just need to be willing to make room for change & open the door to new beginnings.
