In order to move forward in my future. I must be willing to shed the old skins of my past & leave them behind; so my soul can grow a new existence & I can become a new & better version of me.

I say a prayer, for all the wasted time, For every procrastinated minute spent, watching the clock as the hours, turn to days,
I say a prayer, for all the wasted moments, waiting, just gone & thrown away; I pray for every day, I wished was over, as each second, slips away.
I see the sand, from life’s hour glass, as it runs through my fingers. I pray we try to catch it, to put it back, but the clock keeps moving forward, as it passes through our hands. No amount of money, can buy back the seconds hand.
I wait patiently & pray, that at the end of every day, at the closing of our life. We get to stay longer than expected, We get to love longer than allowed and that all the moments left, slow down & become long enough for us to cherish.
I pray we smile through every second & laugh through every tear. I pray We’re not crying for all the minutes, all the days or wasted years.
I pray we savored every moment, living & spend no second with regret or any thoughts of wasted time.

In bad times we seek blame for the melt downs in our life; Forgetting that a star must first explode, before it goes to super nova. (Deb’e)
In order to mold people, God often has to melt them down.
An Amish proverb
Now, is the time I choose to be present in my own existence. Now is the time I choose to have a good day, through every circumstance. Now is the time, I choose to fight the battles within & I will win just because I say, I can.
Now, will always be, from this day forward, the time I choose to make a difference in my own life. Now is the day I will try, to try. Now is my time to reach forward, envision my future & let go of the past. Today I REACH!!!
Debbie Smalley (Deb’e)
Today I will do my very best, to be the best version of myself. When I am tired. I will not quit. Instead, I will take a long deep breath and go a few more steps; for they will make me stronger. They will give me the strength to never quit. So tomorrow I can wake up better than I was the day before.

Learn to accept the circumstances you are given in life. Don’t act defeated, stand strong, move forward & change it into something great!!! Get up & REACH!!! (Deb’e)
The story of : STONE SOUP ~
(From the memory of a Squirrel)
An old man travels into a new town. He is so hungry & he dreams for food. He has nothing but the cloths on his back and an empty pot, with a matching ladle.
He does not complain or beg for help. Instead, he takes all he has & sets it up in the middle of town. He builds a fire; Then he takes a large rock, sets it in the bottom of the pot, adds some water & places it under the fire to cook.
He slowly stirs the liquid as it simmers. He smells it and dreams of what it could be. He tastes it & though it is still very bland. He knows with patience and time, it could turn into something great.
People soon pass by and one by one & they ask him: “What are you cooking in your pot?”
Each time he says the same thing. “I am cooking stone soup for my dinner. It is going to be amazing, I am so hungry. I can’t wait for it to be done?”
Each person says: “I’ve never had stone soup. Is it good?”
He always says: ” Oh yes!!! I do believe its the best soup I have ever had. I am always amazed, how good it turns out. It truly is unbelievable, I love it so much because turns out great every time.”
In this history it is a time of great depression, The whole town is going hungry, so everyone wants for a taste. Each time he says : “I am sorry it is not ready. It needs more time.” Then he tastes it again. “Hmmm… right now I am afraid it is still a little bland. I am short so many of the ingredients, so it still needs a little something more to make it great. However, if you come back at the end of the day I am happy to share what I have.
Those who believed in what he was doing & shared his desire to eat the best soup. run home & find something to add, believing it would great.
The man says Thank you as he accepts each contribution & gratuitously adds it to his pot. He knows with everyone’s help, his stone soup, would truly be the best he’d ever made & everyone could eat.
It truly was a labor of love, so he worked hard all day & believed it would be great. His commitment & desire became so infectious, that almost everyone in the entire town believed & added something to his soup.
At the end of the day, the man had made many new friends. They all gathered around talking, laughing, sharing their stories of the day. As they ate the soup They all agreed, as did the man. That this truly was the best stone soup they had ever had.
THE END
~Chasing Dreams~
You must be honest with the people you love about your dreams. You must trust them enough to share. Be willing to risk it all and jump. Work hard, sacrifice and trust the process. Chasing your dreams is never easy. It takes faith and perseverance to have the strength to reach. We must be willing to take steps, hit roadblocks, face criticisms & make the concessions & sacrifices to succeed.
Dreams worth having are the ones that don’t come easy. They will make you strong & build your endurance. You may fail over and over again. Don’t give up, the conquests for a dream can make you stronger. Failure is always a given. Expect it! Invite it!! And relish in its value, for all failures build a road that eventually lead to the greatest stories of success. REACH!!!
Envisioning your dreams, is the first step toward reaching them. Visions are the seeds of possibilities, in the garden of your life.
Be willing to work hard, nurture your visions & commit. No vision or goal is ever too great or small.
Today, I started so small. I dreamt of an endless cup of coffee, I committed, put in the effort & I did it! I then closed my eyes and enjoy my small but great success. (LOL).
While my eyes were closed. I envision a crew of workers & their handsome supervisor, showing up to my home. Their trucks are full of supplies and tools. They have come to help me & they are staying until the job is complete!
While enjoying my coffee. I watch them build my dream & I picture it finished. I then take a deep breath & find myself sitting outside on a beautiful summers day. We are on the top floor, of the new observation deck, cooking dinner & enjoying drinks in our new patio seating.
I end the day watching the sunset, celebrating victories & sharing visions of our next dream with a beautiful & amazing man. It is a great day to envision.

Some days I cry, because I forgot who I was suppose to be;
Yesterday, I was someone else; So was that really me??
Tomorrow is lost on a map, I have not yet received;
& so Today I laugh; because I will find joy in each moment as I let go & just let life lead;
Today I love freely; because my heart said “just feel & let it be”
Always remembering, in present or future~ I shall not give way to anger, hate or strife. They are the weapons of self destruction & there use just poisons the world, my mind & my life.
