I say a prayer, for all the wasted time, For every procrastinated minute spent, watching the clock as the hours, turn to days,
I say a prayer, for all the wasted moments, waiting, just gone & thrown away; I pray for every day, I wished was over, as each second, slips away.
I see the sand, from life’s hour glass, as it runs through my fingers. I pray we try to catch it, to put it back, but the clock keeps moving forward, as it passes through our hands. No amount of money, can buy back the seconds hand.
I wait patiently & pray, that at the end of every day, at the closing of our life. We get to stay longer than expected, We get to love longer than allowed and that all the moments left, slow down & become long enough for us to cherish.
I pray we smile through every second & laugh through every tear. I pray We’re not crying for all the minutes, all the days or wasted years.
I pray we savored every moment, living & spend no second with regret or any thoughts of wasted time.
